By accessing or using Limitio (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Limitio provides free online tools for compressing, editing, and optimizing images, audio, video, and PDF files. All processing is performed locally in your browser, and no file data is transmitted to external servers.

3. Commercial Use

You are permitted to use the Service for commercial purposes, including but not limited to creating and processing files for monetized YouTube videos. There are no fees or licensing requirements for commercial use of the files you process through the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service itself

5. Intellectual Property

The Service's content, including but not limited to logos, design, and code, is owned by Limitio. You retain all rights to the files you upload and process using the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Limitio does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Limitio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or file quality
  • Service interruptions or discontinuation
  • Any other damages arising from the use of the Service

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important. All file processing occurs locally in your browser. Limitio does not collect, store, or transmit any files you upload to the Service.

The Service restrictively uses local storage on your browser to save your preferences (such as language). No personal data is collected.

9. Modifications to Terms

Limitio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. However, if you are a consumer residing in another jurisdiction, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply to the extent they provide greater protection.

11. Third-Party Libraries

The Service utilizes various open-source libraries (hereinafter referred to as "OSS"), including ffmpeg.wasm and pdf-lib. For the copyright notices and full license texts of each OSS, please refer to the Licenses page on our site. Users are required to comply with the license terms of each OSS.
